Weekend read: Creative director Florence Cools brought magazine Knack Weekend, journalist Iris de Feijter and photographer Laure van Hijfte along with her to visit Manteco in Montemurlo, Italy, and to show them the great passion of La Collection; Recycled Wool.

Here you can find the hands that transform discarded woolen clothes and craft them into the high-quality wool fabrics that we use for La Collection. By doing this they are going against a system of overbreeding of sheep and saving up to 19,000 kilos of dye, 1,000 kilos of chemical products, 722,000 kilos of CO emissions, and 122 million in water yearly.
