Derived from Mannerism, Maniera refers to a conscious approach to form. To the idea that beauty does not only come from what something is, but also from the way it is made, shaped and refined. For Maniera, that idea extends beyond the meaning of the word and into the collection itself.
The language of 16th-century Italian palazzos, their proportions, worn surfaces and layered history, meets the depth and irregularity of Eastern silks, coloured with natural pigments through a sacred tradition carried for over 2,500 years.
At the same time, La Collection brings a significant part of its production back to Belgium, marking a new chapter in the house’s commitment to Belgian craftsmanship.
